What are the Elite Fire Apparel Hat Design Collection layouts?

The five designs in the Elite Fire Apparel Hat Design Collection were created by us dating back as far as 2007. We have created layouts that firefighters love and that can be personalized with no minimum order requirement. There are no set-up fees for these design concepts. Designs in our collection include the Passport, Fire Mark, Traditional Alpha, Traditional Bravo and the 3D Old School Font.

You may choose from 17 different hat styles by Flexfit, New Era, Pacific Headwear, Propper, Richardson and our very own Elite Fire Apparel brand of knit caps that are MADE IN THE USA! You have 21 thread color options and the ability to add text on the back for only $5. 

What is your lead time?
Providing high quality customized products is not only our specialty but also our priority. We work diligently to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality for speed. Our lead time varies depending on our order volume at any given time.

We like to keep our customers well informed so we provide a Lead Time page that is updated daily M-F (except holidays) that can be viewed before or after placing an order. It's divided into two sections - orders of 12 or less hats and bulk orders of 13 or more hats. Small orders of 12 or less hats are more predictable and we are able to provide an estimated lead time for orders of this size on that page. Bulk orders can vary significantly - they can be 13 hats or 300+ hats. Each hat may be different and have to be run individually while sometimes the fronts are identical and can be run 12 at a time. Therefore, we can't provide lead time dates for bulk orders with confidence due to the uniqueness of this order type. However, we are able to provide the bulk order date that we are currently processing so that you can get a rough idea.

For your convenience, when your order is fulfilled, you will receive a Shipping Notification email that will contain the delivery tracking information. 

How is shipping calculated?
Free. It's that simple. All of our hats ship for free every day. 

Do you offer quantity discounts?
We are proud to offer quantity discounts. You may mix and match hat styles, colors, sizes and even embroidery design concepts from the Elite Fire Apparel Hat Design Collection. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout and is based on the total number of hats on your order. To make it easy for you, there is a chart on each product page showing you the price per hat based on the quantity ordered. If you need a formal estimate, fill out this quote form.

What carrier(s) do you use to ship?
It depends on the weight of your order. It is most cost effective to ship small packages out via United States Parcel Service (USPS). This allows us to keep our prices down. We use UPS for extremely large boxes because they have better rates for heavier packages. 

Do you ship to APO and FPO military addresses?
Yes! 

Do you ship internationally?
No, we do not ship internationally at this time. 

Can I add insurance to an order?
Absolutely! Although it doesn't happen often, packages do get lost from time to time. We are more than happy to send you a separate invoice/payment link to add USPS or UPS insurance to your order. In the "notes" section at checkout, just let us know that you would like to add insurance and we'll get it touch with you with a quote. 

How do I know what size to order? 
That is a loaded question because we offer several brands of hats that are available in flexible fitted, adjustable and adjustable sized. The sizing varies from brand to brand and sometimes from style to style within the same brand due to the material. We offer a Headwear Size Guide that is based on each manufacturer's size guides. In addition, we now offer a service where you can purchase undecorated hats for sizing and return them to us for a refund within 30 days. Contact us for details. 

I have placed an order but have not received an order confirmation email. Why?
When a customer places an order through our website, an automated order confirmation email is sent. If you have not received it, there is typically a typo within the email address that you provided on the order. Automated emails can't be sent to email addresses that are not valid. Or, it may be in your spam/junk folder. Depending on your email settings, sometimes automated emails end up there. If you have placed an order and have not received the order confirmation email, please contact us so we can assist you. 

If I have an idea of something I want embroidered that I don’t see on your website, what do I need to do?
We proudly offer 5 embroidery design concepts in our Elite Fire Apparel Hat Design Collection - the Passport, Fire Mark, Traditional Alpha, Traditional Bravo and the 3D Old School Font. These designs can be personalized for your fire station or department with no set-up fee and no minimum order requirement.

If you're looking for something more custom, we do offer a custom embroidery service. There are order minimum requirements for custom designs as well as digitizing fees that are based on the complexity of the artwork you submit and quantity needed. In addition, if you don't have the artwork, there are additional fees to create that. Contact us for more information.

Can I send you a hat that I've purchased elsewhere for you to decorate with embroidery? 
Our business model is set up to only sew on hats that we provide. 

I don't see the hat style that I want offered on your website. Can you special order hats?
Yes! We stock the most popular hat styles that our customers tend to order. However, we can special order hat styles from any of our vendors with a 12 piece minimum order requirement per color and size (if applicable).
